Remember your pets during trust preparation

Owning a pet is truly a special experience. Many pet owners in Georgia regard their dogs, cats and even reptiles as members of the family. However, when it comes to things like estate planning, beloved pets are often handled improperly or left out entirely. Instead of skipping over a four-legged friend, looking into the benefits of trust preparation could be helpful.

New parent and others charged with drug crimes

As Georgia residents prepare for the holidays, a lot of emphasis may be placed on the importance of family. Most parents want their child to be present for special gatherings and time-honored traditions but also for ordinary days. For a new parent, bringing a baby home might be a big adjustment, and one mother learned the hard way that being accused of drug crimes can affect a child.

Online theft a modern concern

The holiday season has begun, and Georgia residents might be among the millions of Americans who have a little extra shopping to do in the coming weeks. This time of year, many people are planning to buy gifts for loved ones, ingredients for a special meal, or are hunting for a bargain on a big purchase, like a vehicle or home appliance. These days, many people turn to the internet for shopping, but many might not be aware that a person can be charged with theft for online activities.

Cyber attack may affect traffic violations tickets

For some years now, Georgia residents have become used to doing many things online. Many people now shop, pay bills, schedule appointments and complete various other mundane tasks on the internet. What used to require a written check and a stamped envelope can now be accomplished with a few quick clicks. Even some legal situations, like traffic violations that resulted in a fine, can usually be handled online.
