Wrongful death claim may result after Georgia driver charged

Too often pedestrian accidents result in fatalities. Pedestrians have little protection from vehicles and can do little to protect themselves if a vehicle is about to hit them. Sadly, family members of pedestrians killed in such accidents are often left with grief, financial difficulties and other damages. However, they may be able to seek compensation for those damages by filing a wrongful death claim. 

Drunk driver believed to be at fault in fatal crash

Many Georgia residents are aware of a recent auto accident that claimed the life of a well-known sculptor. The 53-year-old artist was recently commissioned to create a piece to honor the life of Martin Luther King, Jr., which would have been displayed on the grounds of the Georgia Capital. Upon early investigation, police believe that the fatal accident was the fault of a drunk driver, and charges have been made in the matter.
