Sleepy drivers cause numerous car accidents every year

There have been numerous campaigns launched to get the word out about the dangers of using a cell phone while driving, as well as efforts to prevent drunk driving. However, up until recently, the hazards of driving while sleepy have not been well documented. The reality is, sleepy drivers cause numerous serious car accidents every year, in Georgia and across the country.

Was Georgia toddler's death due to negligent property owner?

A 3-year-old child died while attempting to use the slide at a daycare center run from the provider's home. While Georgia police have not yet charged the childcare provider, the chief remarked that it could potentially be considered the fault of a negligent property owner. The child died from asphyxiation.

Georgia student suffers amputation after hit-and-run accident

One young student has expressed gratitude that her mental abilities remain intact after she endured a horrific accident. The driver deemed responsible for the hit-and-run collision has not yet been located. As of the time of the report, the victim remained under hospital care.

Georgia town seeks to aid woman injured by suspected drunk driver

A fundraiser set up by a friend enabled residents of one Georgia town to pitch in their time and resources to help one of their own. A tragic accident early last month left one young mother seriously injured and her young son killed after being hit by a suspected drunk driver. While the woman was unable to attend the event, it was successful in raising some much-needed money.

Horrific Georgia auto accident kills 5, including 3 children

Georgia State Police recently responded to a horrific collision between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer. The auto accident is still being investigated, but one person has suggested a cause of the fatal wreck. The vehicle was transporting two adults and three children at the time of the wreck.
