Georgia woman faces multiple charges in fatal auto accident

Georgia State Police have filed multiple charges against a woman after a string of apparent violations culminated in a serious crash. The auto accident killed one woman and left several others injured, including a sheriff's deputy. The woman was charged with vehicular homicide and driving under the influence.

National holidays often lead to drunk driving accidents

 The government has set aside certain days that are designated as memorials or tributes to workers, soldiers and historical or other important events. These days are often viewed by citizens as seasonal markers also and are celebrated with friends and family. Unfortunately, some of these holiday remembrances are marred by the tragedy of drunk driving accidents. Many Georgia families have been forever changed by these wrecks.

Georgia hit-and-run accident injures 2 on scooter

Georgia police are requesting the public's assistance in locating a vehicle and the person who was driving it at the time of a traffic incident. The hit-and-run accident involved the vehicle in question and a motor scooter. The two passengers on the scooter did suffer injuries in the collision.

26-year-old Georgia woman suffers serious injuries after wreck

A 26-year-old Georgia woman is hospitalized after the car she was in was hit by another vehicle traveling the wrong way on the highway. The driver of that car has since been charged with several offenses, including suspected drunk driving. The collision left the victim suffering serious injuries after being extricated from the wreckage.

Georgia student suffers amputation after hit-and-run accident

One young student has expressed gratitude that her mental abilities remain intact after she endured a horrific accident. The driver deemed responsible for the hit-and-run collision has not yet been located. As of the time of the report, the victim remained under hospital care.

Georgia town seeks to aid woman injured by suspected drunk driver

A fundraiser set up by a friend enabled residents of one Georgia town to pitch in their time and resources to help one of their own. A tragic accident early last month left one young mother seriously injured and her young son killed after being hit by a suspected drunk driver. While the woman was unable to attend the event, it was successful in raising some much-needed money.
