Georgia car accident results in the death of Marine

Motorcyclists are often aware of the risks they face while traveling the roadways. They could easily become involved in a car accident that could leave them with serious or fatal injuries. Unfortunately, accidents of this type happen across the country numerous times a year. Nonetheless, each accident that results in the death of an individual is tragic.

A recent accident in Georgia took place between a car and a motorcycle. It was reported that a Marine who was on leave to visit his mother was riding on a motorcycle when another vehicle came into the motorcycle's path. The other vehicle was driven by a teenager who attempted to make a left turn. This resulted in the motorcycle colliding with the side of the vehicle. A third vehicle was also involved as it had been traveling behind the motorcycle and could not stop in time.

The crash resulted in the death of the motorcyclist. It was not mentioned whether the teenage driver of the other vehicle was injured in the incident, but it was noted that the driver of the third vehicle did not suffer any injuries. The accident was still under investigation at the time of the report, and no charges had been filed.

The family of the Marine killed in the Georgia car accident are likely devastated over the sudden loss. As a result of the situation, they may wish to consider filing a wrongful death claim against the parties considered responsible for the accident. Filing such a claim could allow them to pursue compensation for funeral expenses and other damages resulting from the fatal crash.
