Summer and teen drivers can lead to more Georgia car accidents

Summertime is the season for enjoying time with friends, holding backyard parties and dealing with teenagers who have drivers’ licenses that are burning a hole in their pockets. According to the American Automobile Association (AAA), the summer driving season can be the most deadly since this season sees an increase in serious car accidents with teens behind the wheel. Georgia officials are seeking to make the summer season a safer one for younger drivers.

Georgia police claim fatal accident caused by teen drunk driver

Teenagers often seem to be full of life and with a quest for adventure. When a tendency to believe that they are indestructible is added to alcohol and vehicles, then the mix can potentially result in a tragedy. Georgia police have recently charged a teen with being a drunk driver who they say was responsible for killing a teenaged passenger.

Professional truck drivers often have long, lonely hours on the nation's freeways as they travel the same roads with commuters and other motorists. That fact alone demands that they are careful drivers who always take the safety of those around them into consideration. All too frequently, however, there are reports of yet another semi truck accident that resulted in injuries. One such accident ended in tragedy in Georgia.

Wrongful death filed in Georgia against filmmakers, others

The parents of a film crew member recently opted to seek their own justice for the loss of their daughter in a fatal accident. The Georgia tragedy occurred while the daughter and others were staging a scene to be filmed. The wrongful death suit was filed in the state courthouse in Chatham County. The incident took place in Wayne County. They have named several parties that they believe share responsibility for this tragic death.
